APAC SMEs that need AI now — dormant automation candidates + AI-active. HK · SG

What this is. HK/SG employers from MyCareersFuture + JobsDB,
de-duplicated per company, recruiters dropped, large orgs/MNCs down-ranked.
Two segments: Dormant (automation candidates)
— firms hiring lots of manual ops/admin/clerical roles and not hiring AI;
they have automatable work but no in-house AI capability, so they need an outside
partner (the larger, under-served market). AI-active — already
hiring AI/automation roles. AI-Need score =
0.6·automation opportunity + 0.4·AI momentum (each 0–100; higher is a
stronger prospect). Automation opportunity = how much manual
back-office work there is to automate (open operations / admin / accounting /
customer-service roles + sector). AI momentum = how actively
they're already moving on AI (volume, recency, breadth of AI roles). Opportunity
is weighted above momentum on purpose, so dormant high-opportunity firms surface
rather than being buried under companies already building AI in-house.
Honest limits: signals are heuristic and read from hiring data;
use as a call-prep shortlist, not gospel.
